You must be dead inside if you haven’t, at least once, walked past a police car and thought about jumping in and going for a joyride. Turn on the lights, blare the siren and head to your nearest doughnut shop to fill your pockets.

Now it isn’t exactly a good idea to steal a police car at the best of times but you should really rethink your strategy when your driving is well below par. Someone forgot to tell the above driver, with the YouTube video carrying this description:

A 25-year old suspect was arrested after stealing a police vehicle in George at approximately at 05:00 this morning (17 March, 2015). George SAPD informed Riversdale and Heidelberg SAPD. A roadblock was set up outside Heidelberg on the N2, where the suspect refused to stop, causing a major accident, involving two other police vehicles and a truck. The suspect was transported to Riversdale Hospital for observation. No fatal injuries was reported.

I’m pretty sure the suspect won’t be too popular around the station after writing off one of their vehicles. Good luck mate, you’re going to need it.
