Anyone ever heard of a man called Jose Mujica? Well the name might not a ring a bell but maybe you have heard of the Uruguayan president who donated more than 90% of his salary to charity and lived in a tiny farmhouse with his wife? That’s ‘ol Jose, who ran the show in Uruguay from 2010 through until this year.

Now we’re not saying every president must be Captain Planet, but some of the earnings of those in top offices around the world seem vastly inflated. You may have guessed from the headline that our own JZ is sitting rather pretty when compared with other leaders, although that won’t cause him to #paybackthemoney.
