So Kim Kardashian has been called many things, some of which we can’t exactly repeat here. One thing she can be lauded for, and iPhone users should feel pretty guilty about, is the success of her app Kim Kardashian Hollywood. The app raked in a monster $74 million last year, and it is estimated it will make another $200 million this year. How much does she benefit? Only a cool 45%, which if you do the maths is a truckload of money.

She also laid bare her reasons for snapping a million and one selfies during the past 24 hours. This quote of hers from The Daily Beast:

So many people think that taking so many selfies is just ridiculous. For me, what’s so funny is I love taking pictures and posting them on social media for memories. I genuinely love the glam of life and hair and makeup and all of that, so I love just sharing my life with people—that’s who I’ve been. I live my life on a reality show…

She says the cult surrounding her selfie obsession is all a bit ridiculous to her, adding that she uses the pics as a ‘fun, emotional scrapbook’ through which she can relive her mammaries memories. Enlightening.

More good news – Keeping Up with the Kardashians has just signed on for another four years, netting the Klan a cool $100 million.
