Here’s a fun fact for the day: we are now into stage two load shedding. That means work is compacted into a few manic hours in the morning and then again in the afternoon. The great news is we now have a siesta, much like the Spanish. It really is the way forward.

Because 2oceansvibe is lucky enough to have its place of work in The Woodstock Exchange, we don’t really call it the office… it’s more of a playground for adults. For example, this is how we take our breaks:

See those chairs on our grass? We nibble on our sushi or salads there and watch the boys play Foosball.

The best thing about our adult playground is that during load shedding we can still have a bit of fun. Because of the volume and use of glass, there is this thing called ‘natural light’ in The WEX. Those of you that work in ‘offices’ might not know what this is. I feel for you. If you do want in on some of the action and the natural light, get involved at The Bureaux.

Yep, that would be the 2oceansvibe team playing a mini tournament during our first load shedding of 2015. You can barely notice that Eskom is taking a break. We’re due for another tournament at around 16h00 today if THIS is anything to go by. Pop by for a game…
