Are You Ready For Apple’s iCar?

It seems Apple are about to dip their toes into some new territory, and of course Apple fans the world over are salivating from the mouth at the prospect.

Calling all Apple lovers…so you’ve got your iMac, iPhone, iPod, iPad and iConsumeEverythingApplePutsOut devices, how else you can you keep Apple up top of the food chain?

Introducing the iCar, currently going by the code name ‘Titan’. Yes folks, Apple is working on an electronic car and we’re all going to gobble it up.

Whilst the project is top-secret, someone has leaked some info to the press, with Fortune carrying this:

…sources claim the project is code-named “Titan” and that early designs show a vehicle that looks similar to a minivan. Apple is in the early stages of development…

Details are still pretty hush-hush and Apple have yet to comment on the project that they are apparently devoting ‘several hundred’ employees to work on full-time. Don’t forget Google recently made public their plans to develop a driverless car, as did Uber.

Speculation is rife as to what the car will look like, although we might be able to get a clue from this Ford 021C, first seen in 1999.

The reason? Mark Newson, one of the designers responsible for the Ford shown above, joined Apple last year.

Even if the rumours are to be believed it is still going to be a while before we see this product hit the road. That should give all of you Apple addicts out there ample time to stash way the cash needed, which I would bet will be a pretty penny. The saving starts now.
