Grooming. Summer. C’mon, they go hand in hand, and if you’re going to be wearing your new skimpy, skin revealing Brazillian bikini, it’s best your body has been prepped and primed so you don’t have a very awkward situation. Also, winter is on the horizon, so guys and gals alike are partnering up so they can hibernate together for the colder months – this means a few first dates and the dreaded first time y’all get kaalgat and see each others wobbly bits.
Ladies, this is not a good look.
And you all remember that scene from Scary Movie. I know you do.
But, boys, don’t forget to do a bit of manscaping yourself. This is not a good look, and will not make us girls think you are a European love god.
Yeah, you can go for your waxing and plucking and those near death experience things called epilators, or you can go for a few sessions of laser at the Body Renewal Clinic and feel (haha) like a Grecian wonder-person.
So let’s talk laser.
Laser hair removal can be done on any area of the body, and has to be done in a course of treatments (you need between 6-12 treatments, which is very client specific).
Body Renewal isn’t going to make lame promises about about your hair vanishing forever, but will vouch for permanent hair reduction (this is due to hair growth being linked to hormones, and if your internal body works change, this can restart hair growth). Body Renewal‘s treatments are not inferior. They’re just honest with everything that they do – they communicate the open and honest truth with you to prevent false hope. I can promise you that even Giselle Bündchen is airbrushed. A lot. And you also don’t want to be completely bald from head to toe.
But, yes, if that’s your vibe, you hypothetically could. You can have laser to reduce facial hair, back or chest hair, legs, underarms, those deep, dark areas…
As for the pain level? It is tolerable (compare it to a quick flick of a rubber band) and dissipates fast. Will it work on your skin type? Yes. If you’re dark or light, you will see changes. It is recommended, however, not to have laser over a tan. If there is sun exposure, lower settings have to be used which makes the treatment less effective.
Do it.
