Bill Gates and his wife Melinda have done good with the moolah Bill has made through Microsoft. They are philanthropists at heart and try continuously to make the world a better place.
Every year for the past six years the Gates’ have written a letter, telling the world about their hopes, dreams and desires for saving the world. The letter was published a few days ago, and The Verge managed to track down Bill for an interview regrading the letter, which had a lot to say about where we will all be come 2030.
The letter looks back 15 years in the past: “We started our foundation in 2000 with the idea that by backing innovative work in health and education, we could help dramatically reduce inequity.” And it looks 15 years into the future, predicting that “the lives of people in poor countries will improve faster in the next 15 years than at any other time in history.”
