Time for your Cosby update, because this train ain’t stopping any time soon.

Yesterday another model came forward with her story, laying charges against the former TV funny man in Los Angeles. Chloe Goins alleges that during a party at the Playboy Mansion in 2008 Cosby drugged her, and when she awoke she was naked with Cosby standing over her. This story sounds very familiar, as it follows the general outline of the stories from the ever-mounting list of women accusing Cosby of rape.

The important thing here is that among the 15-plus women, Goins is in a unique position. This from Fox News:

Kuvin [her attorney] said last week his client is the only victim whose claims are covered by the statute of limitations.

“Chloe is very aware of her responsibility because so many other women are outside of the statute of limitation,” Kuvin said. “She is seeking justice under the criminal justice system.”

The Hollywood Reporter says that the LAPD will investigate the claims by Goins against Cosby. It also carries some rather disturbing insight into the specifics of the alleged rape:

She claimed Cosby gave her a drink and everything became foggy after that. She said she woke up naked in a bedroom soon after, and Cosby was sucking on her toes and masturbating. She said Cosby then pulled his pants up and ran out of the room.

Obviously the old saying goes ‘innocent until proven guilty’, but it’s also said that where there’s smoke there’s fire. And, where there’s a creepy old man masturbating and sucking on toes, we will always keep a close eye on the story.
