Eiffel Tower Shuts Down Lights Following Attack [Video]

The city of Paris paid its respects last night by dimming the lights of the iconic Eiffel Tower. See the video here...

In a mark of huge respect for the victims of the senseless Charlie Hebdo massacre the city of Paris dimmed the lights of the Eiffel Tower yesterday at 8pm. The lights remained dimmed for 30 seconds before once more illuminating the city centre.

A national day of mourning was declared as Parisians gathered in large numbers to pay their respects, with many smaller towns around France holding their own vigils.
