OMG LeBron James Broke Royal Protocol

Uh oh… How could he? How does he not know this royal rule?
NO ARMS AROUND THE ROYALS IN PHOTOGRAPHS.
“There are no obligatory codes of behavior when meeting The Queen or a member of the Royal Family, but many people wish to observe the traditional forms,” according to a section on such matters found on the official website of the British Monarchy.
Kate and Will met with LeBron James after the game they went to watch on Monday (where they also got to meet Beyonce and Jay-Z). Things got really awkward when James broke “royal protocol” by “wrapping his long arm around Kate Middleton’s shoulder during a photo op”.
Protocol “prohibits anyone from touching or kissing members of the royal family.
After about 20 seconds, LeBron dropped his arm, and it can be quite clearly seen that Kate didn’t know quite what to do.
