No, Tiger Woods is not visiting the French city.

It’s an actual young, 70kg tiger, and authorities don’t think it’s too dangerous. Rather, the big cat is probably afraid.

Le tigre was first spotted in a supermarket car park, where a woman alerted officials.

The locals of Montévrain have been asked to be careful and to stay indoors until the animal is caught.

“Officers armed with tranquiliser guns have been combing countryside outside the town, helped by a helicopter”

I am sure this has not aided at all in terrifying le tigre even more. There is nothing quite as consoling as a chopper flying above your head.

Disneyland Paris is also on the lookout for the feline.

“There is no reason to worry; we’re aware of it and we’ve done all that’s necessary for the safety of our customers – we’ve already got security staff, who are watching out, and the prefecture is doing all that’s needed too. I really don’t think it will come as far as us.”

Where the animal has come from has everyone baffled, although there is a “big cat park” near the town. Gee guys, surely it can’t be from there?

It has yet to be caught.
