Peter Fonda rode a very cool Harley-Davidson motorbike in the 1969 film Easy Rider. For fans of the film, you missed out on buying the bike this past weekend.

At the Profiles in History auction house in Calabasas, an amazing $1.35 million was spent on the Harley.

“… one of the most iconic images in American film. The bike evokes powerful emotions even in non-bikers. It personifies the ’60s, all of the good and the bad that decade brought.”
