Ha! I told you this morning that Oscar would be having more sleepless nights!
Some dramatic information has been released regarding the Oscar Pistorius case – EWN reportedly learned that Oscar’s brother Carl may have deleted the entire call history and every WhatsApp message on Oscar’s phone. The phone was only handed over to the police 12 days after Reeva’s death, so there was plenty of time.
This has been revealed in the book Behind the Door, penned by Barry Bateman and Mandy Wiener, both from EWN.
“In an attempt to track the whereabouts of the handset during that period, police investigators compared the service provider data of both Oscar and Carl’s phones during that time. This is how they established that it was likely the athlete’s brother had removed the device from the crime scene.”
It has also been revealed, after further investigation, that Oscar spoke to his ex-girlfriend, Jenna Edkins, for nine minutes on the evening before Reeva’s death.
Could this information have had any impact? Apparently Oscar’s lawyers “knew about the phone call to Edkins” and had spoken to her, and she was willing to testify.
