A Swiss goalkeeper didn’t see the humour in a prank which involved rivalling fans pissing in his drinking bottle, and we don’t blame him.
FC Muri goalkeeper Reto Felder immediately noticed something was wrong when he drank from a water-bottle left next to his goal post during the Liga (third tier) game at FC Baden near Zurich.
“The idea of drinking piss is simply intolerable,” said Felder when speaking to the media following the incident. “What if next time it is something that knocks you out?”.
It’s said that the unidentified fans had persuaded a ball boy behind the goal to pass them the bottle during the second half of the match.
Swiss tabloid Blick said the fans shouted “Now you have AIDS” after Felder realised what had happened.
Felder is now waiting for an analysis of video evidence before pressing legal action.
