The skeleton was found in South America, near the southern tip, where, 77 million years ago, icy Patagonia would have been a temperate forest climate.
Basically, this guy was huge.
Kenneth Lacovara first caught sight of the skeleton in 2005, on a field trip. He has spent the last year living in a tent, next to Dreadnoughtus.
