Sunday brought the final day of the Movember initiative – which was celebrated with a day of bowls at the Fresnaye Bowling Club.
A stunning day for it, what!
But it wasn’t just a DAY at the bowling club, it was a chance to walk away with The Balls of Glory.
The gorgeous Balls of Glory
As with most things in this cruel unfair life, there can only be one winner. Luckily, that winner was us, the 2oceansvibe Luv Sport team. All having never played before, one could say that “beginner’s luck” played a part.
My God, we were good. And those first guys we played in the final (muffled laughter). They were so incredibly confident to begin with. But then so incredibly quiet after the first game..
Almost as quiet as the Philips electric shavers we won as part of our prize (valued at WELL over R2,000, I’ll have you know).
Rich, Clayton, Seth and Marcus
Literally drowning in prizes
Thanks to the organisers for putting on a good show. Thanks to the competition for not being as good as us and thanks to suburb of Fresnaye for being so welcoming.
Naturally, we will be back next year to defend our title..
