Residents of Gaza are showing their desperation for help by doing a “Rubble Bucket Challenge” which sadly sees citizens pouring pieces of broken concrete and dirt over their heads to bring the struggles of the people of Gaza to light.
The first video was posted by Palestinian journalist Ayman al Aloul, who explains that resources such as water are rare in Gaza at the moment and instead of “material aid”, the people of Gaza want attention to be brought to the area, where many have lost their homes.
It’s been reported that 2,119 people, most of them civilians including more than 400 children, have been killed in Gaza since 8 July, when Israel launched an offensive with the declared aim of ending rocket fire into its territory.
