The iconic 70’s bicycle is making a comeback. We have all heard and read stories of the classic Chopper bike that rolled the streets in the good old days. Raleigh is bringing it back, with all the originals, padded backrest, mismatched wheels and the ape-hangar handle bars.
The Raleigh Chopper is not only a design classic, but also a childhood icon and we’ve seen lots of demand from parents wanting to recreate the magic of their favourite bike for their children.
They are only releasing a limited amount of the Red Hot Chopper. We are not sure if it will be available in S.A, but if you truly deny that you are a hipster, you will try your utter best to get your hands on this beauty. That is if you are not already cruising around on your dad’s age old Chopper.
The price tag? Compared to the original price back in the 70’s, 32 GBP, the new chopper will be available at a whopping 250 GBP, which will bring your total to about R4 415 – not too bad for a collector’s item like the Chopper.
