Knowing what it’s like to live is so overrated, so what about dying?
Well, you can find out what it’s like to kick the bucket with China’s new death simulator.
“Samadhi — 4D Experience of Death,” is a morbid “escape room” game that uses dramatic special effects to bring players close to what its creators imagine is an experience of death.
The “game” allows people to see what it might be like to experience cremation, and the faux cremator will use hot air and light projections to create what the organizers call “an authentic experience of burning.”
It’s not all bad though, as after being cremated, you’ll be transported to a warm fuzzy capsule, which as you can guess, represents a womb and your rebirth.
The death-themed game was created to provoke people into considering the meaning of life, something that the creator himself has learned to embrace.
“China made me rich, but it didn’t teach me how to live a rich life. I was lost,” said Huang Wei-pin.
