Attention all you car enthusiasts out there: get out your credit cards, take out a second mortgage and give up the unnecessary costs in your life (like food)… you are going to WANT this beauty.
An example of one of the greatest cars of all time, the McLaren F1, is being auctioned this month.
The 1995 example, with only 1,004 miles on the clock, is estimated to fetch between $12 million and $14 million (£7,102,000 to £8,286,000) at the Goodings sale during the annual Pebble Beach classic car gathering on August 16 and 17, part of the Monterey Car Week in California.
It has had three owners from new and is finished in Marlboro White, the only such example made according to the auction house.
F1 chassis 031 received an extensive service by McLaren in 2008 and is being sold with bespoke fitted luggage as well as the original manual and toolkit.
Check out more details on why this is widely considered the best road car ever made from The Telegraph.
