While SA’s last remaining hope, the Sharks, bombed out of the Super Rugby trophy contention last week, we’re still geared-up for a massive game this weekend.
The in-form and star-studded Waratahs will be hosting the seven-time champions, the Crusaders, in a game that’s incredibly hard to call; but there are some factors to consider.
The last ten times these side have gone head-to-head, the Crusaders managed to come out on top, 60% of the time, every time.
That said, the Waratahs have some serious star power this season, with the likes of Kurtley Beale, Jacques Potgieter and the outstanding Israel Folau in their arsenal, alongside a host of other Wallabies around them. The Crusaders on the other hand have Israel Dagg, IRB Player of the Year for 2013, Kieran Read, and of course, the mercurial Dan Carter – so both teams look somewhat matched in terms of individual brilliance.
You can place your pre-match bets for the game here, as well as get in on the In-Play betting while the game is live.
The match kicks off at 11:40 on Saturday, 2 August 2014.
