While Russian President Vladimir Putin is known for his stern ways, it’s no surprise that he’s managed to keep his daughter Yekaterina Putin away from the headlines.

For those who may not know, Putin has two daughters: Mariya and Yekaterina. Mariya has had her fair share of the spotlight over the last couple of years (although she is still really under the radar), but now it seems that her sister is getting some of the attention, but not for her political prowess.

Even less is actually known about Putin’s younger daughter, as he’s always kept his children out of the media spotlight, but it’s rumoured that Yekaterina once dated the son of a South Korean admiral for over a decade.
