Just when you thought Google Maps couldn’t get easier to use or better to navigate with – no matter what mode of transportation you are using – it has! But only for some users…Check the following criteria to see if you are one.

Do you often ride your bike and wish there was an easier route with less uphill or, for that matter, a more difficult route to burn off the extra pizza you couldn’t resist last night? Yes…? Good start.

Now, Do you have an android device?

You do? Excellent! Congratulations! Google will now be able to tell you not only how to get to your destination, but also the changes in elevation along the route.

The update, first spotted by Android Police isn’t live in Google Play yet. But Android users can get an early look at the app by downloading the APK, which Google has already signed off on, according to Android Police.

If you have an Apple, lets face it you probably aren’t riding to work anyway so you can wait a few extra days to try out this new feature on your next weekend getaway.
