A technology that could be untraceable would make spy or cop movies pretty boring, but it exists.
Silent Circle is an app company that has helped boost the privacy of keeping your phone number and messages incognito by using an encrypted data service.
“What Silent Circle is offering is an augmented level of security beyond what normal phones can offer,” said Ben Wood, a senior analyst with mobile research firm CCS Insight. “It captures the zeitgeist in terms of paranoia by answering the question of what more consumers can do to protect themselves.”
Maybe Silent Circle was created by the government!? That would make one hell of a twist.
