All that aside, the Kardashian clan addressed a more serious social issue in the latest episode of “Keeping up With The Kardashians”: racial prejudice.

Kim revealed that before she had baby North, it was easy to see racism as “someone else’s problem” but since having Kanye’s baby, the star has realised just how much racial prejudice is still around and how relevant it actually is to HER now. Better late than never, we guess.

Kim was reportedly taking a flight with little North and fell asleep, as you do as a new mum.

“I fell asleep, I woke up to this woman screaming, “Kanye West’s baby!’,” she began.

 “The woman is screaming at my child, so I jump up.”

Her momager Kris interjects and shares more of the story and speaks of the slur the woman used.

“She’s with a black guy, and that baby is black! And you need to shut that black baby up,” Kris said of the encounter.

Little sister Khloe then responds with her typical feisty wit, saying: “‘I would say, hashtag, “I only like black c***!” That’s what I would say!’”

Welcome to being a parent, Kim. The real world is a harsh place and it is not easy protecting your little one from it.
