While this isn’t strictly ‘news’ I thought a little bit of comedy was in order to get you smiling in the right way this morning.
Those of you familiar with the English Premier League will find this clip especially comical. Former Wigan, Fulham and current Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard, boasts a glorious set of golden locks. Before he suffered a series of long-term injuries, Bullard had been a fan’s favourite with the clubs he’d represented. Now he is struggling for form in the Championship.
I have always thought he was a bit of a hoot, as he looks like somebody whose reached a premature midlife crisis. I recently discovered a pair of clips that suggest that he could make it in a skit-show a la Little Britain. The one you find above is part of a celebratory advert for all-in-one shampoo brand, Wash-&-Go, while the second is a series of outtakes from Bullard’s player profile graphic that is shown with the team lineups on Skysports’ production.
Goldilocks, eat Jimmy’s shorts.
