Somewhere on the slopes of the Altai mountain range in western Mongolia lives the most badass 13-year-old girl in the world. She is most likely the only Kazakh huntress in training. Marvel at these stunning photographs of Ashol-Pan, hunting with her massive golden eagle.
The Kazakh’s of the Altai mountains are the only people in the world to hunt with golden eagles. Generally, it is a male dominated practice, with Ashol-Pan probably the only female huntress.
We know the video is not of her, but we thought you would like to see some fox hunting with golden eagles in action – it’s pretty epic.
