Civilians by the boat load are using the online map site Tomnod to find missing flight MH370. Courtney Love even thought she spotted the plane using the site’s images. This recent pic, showing a plane flying above a jungle, was reportedly discovered by a Taiwanese university student.
The authenticity of the pic is still to be confirmed, along with the coordinates. The image has surfaced as reports by Malaysian villagers and fishermen claim to have spotted a low flying aircraft over the north eastern region of the country. They spotted the plane around the time when the aircraft was thought to have made a U-turn.
The villagers from Kelantan, Malaysia, said they saw odd lights in the sky and heard a loud engine. Residents of the island Dhaalu Atoll in the Maldives, also reported a low flying plane with the Malaysia Airlines markings in the early hours of 8 March. To avoid ground radar a plane would have to fly at a dangerously low altitude, below 1500m.
