Die Burger has reported that a freelance journalist named Alan Bowen fell from the 26th floor of the Naspers building in the early hours of this morning. His body was discovered in the parking area below.

This, from News24:

He was a sub-editor at WP Newspapers and worked on the sixth floor along with Die Burger’s editorial staff.

CCTV footage showed him getting up from his desk and taking the lift to the 26th floor.

No foul play is suspected.
