You might not recognize actor Shia LaBeouf, star of the worst Indiana Jones film ever, as he donned a dapper paper bag at the red carpet premier for ‘Nymphomaniac: Part 1’ at the Berlin Film Festival on Sunday night. With the words, “I am not famous anymore” written across the bag in black marker, The Beef claims to be “retiring from all public life.”
Earlier the same day he stormed out of a press conference for ‘Nymphomaniac: Part 1’ after answering only one question. Responding to a question regarding the explicit sex scenes in the movie, LaBeouf asaid: “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.”
LaBeouf started loosing the plot after he was accused of committing plagiarism in his short-film ‘Howard Cantour.com.’ The dialogue and the story line of LaBeouf’s film were lifted verbatim from a 2007 graphic novel by Daniel Clowes. Back in December LaBeouf responded to the claims on Twitter: “In my excitement and naivete as an amateur filmmaker, I got lost in the creative process and neglected to follow proper accreditation.”
We think it’s karma for taking part in the destruction of the Indiana Jones franchise.
