It was oddly delightful how on 6 December, not even the most pugnacious troll reared his twisted face. For once, Twitter seemed to unite gracefully.
Until people discovered the account of the Westboro Baptist Church, @WBCSays. They trolled Madiba hard.
After some investigation, it emerged that these were the “God Hates Fags” people. The latest word is that they’re coming to South Africa to protest outside Mandela’s memorial because he was an “adulterer”.
