Truffles are the diamonds of cuisine – exquisite, much desired worldwide, and hard to come by. Which makes adopting your very own truffle tree a fairly epic prospect.
The folks at Les Pastrasm near Cadenet in the heart of Provence are allowing anyone (yes, even you) to adopt a tree and, for a fee, you will receive an annual shipment of 100 grams of black Perigord truffles. Yum. Your tree will bear your name on a plaque, and you can keep tabs on it via Google Earth.
Your annual shipment will be made in January.
