Telkom Knockout Final:

Platinum Stars vs Orlando Pirates

We all really wanted to see another Soweto Derby here but Stars beat the Chiefs in the final to guarantee their spot in the final. It is the second successive final these two teams will meet each other after meeting in the MTN8 Final in September. In all league and cup matches, Stars and Pirates have met 24 times, the Buccaneers have won 14 whilst Dikwena have only managed to win twice. We feel that the Bucs should have the better of the Stars come Saturday at the Mombela stadium.

Bundesliga:

Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Leverkusen

2 plays 3 in the log standings with only 3-points separating these two teams. Both teams go into this match on the back of league successes. For Jürgen Klopp’s Schwarz-Gelben in particular, the pressure is on again and while their makeshift back four will doubtless gel to better effect with every passing game, they will need to be very careful indeed against a guest forward line.
