In yet another magnificent example of art immitating life, what we have here is Australian cricketer, Brad Haddin copping a finger to the eye following a poorly-executed high five by a team mate. The scenario is a direct play-acting of a scene from cult classic radio comedy programme, The 12th Man, which was written and performed by comedian Billy Birmingham.
The original 12th Man commentary has been overlaid with the visuals of Haddin getting nailed in the eye.
