Power FM owner, Given Mkhari says he plans to lay charges of extortion and trespassing against a a 25-year-old media studies student and Vodacom service centre employee who has accused him 0f raping her. The unnamed woman laid the charge of sexual assault against the PowerFM co-founder eight months after the alleged incident. Mkhari says he is the victim of a targeted campaign of harassment.
Mkhari claims that the woman fabricated the rape claim and blackmailed him in a bid to extort R20 million from the radio tycoon.
