Well, this is just delightful. An outspoken but thus-far anonymous critic of the e-Tolls system in Johannesburg has erected massive advertising-grade billboards on the side of the N1 and N3, reading “E-tolls. Proudly brought to you by the ANC.”

Apparently-oblivious ANC spokesperson and recovering alcoholic, Jackson Mthembu went to great pains to assure the media that it wasn’t the ANC who commissioned the billboard. If they had done it, they would have included the ANC branding, said the spokesperson.
