Right, so a little while ago I told you I’m going to be driving, blogging, and changing lives in the Continental #Run2Stop challenge from 4 to 8 November this year. The five-day race is comprised of 1,200km of running, cycling, driving, and goodwill challenges. I have the driving and goodwill covered (love you, mom). I need you for the running and cycling.
If you consider yourself an endurance athlete with a couple of Iron Man or Absa Cape Epic medals hanging on your mirror, then I want you to join my team.
I’m looking for a cyclist and a runner for my team.
Don’t sign up if pain isn’t your mistress, and you haven’t yet considered soiling yourself during an endurance event. We want people who’ve been through the fire.
If you think you can handle 40km of running a day, or 120km of daily cycling, then you have what it takes. The race has a stack of pro trainers to get you prepared. Heck, I’d do this just to meet some of the top athletic people in the country, if I were you.
The winning team will be jetting off to Brazil to watch a 2014 FIFA World Cup™ game, live. LIVE. We only have one competitor, you basically already have one foot on the plane to Rio.
Entries close this Friday – 20 SEPTEMBER – so sign up here NOW. Let’s take this to Brazil, people.
