This is filmmaker Anthony Cerniello’s latest short film, ‘Danielle’. The five minute clip – which takes its name from the model – showcases a woman’s face subtly ageing decades right before your eyes.
The filmmaker compiled photos of his friend Danielle’s relatives, before searching for similarities in bone structure in the various women.
When speaking about what inspired him to make this short film he said:
I was thinking a lot about death, having panic attacks for a while and I wanted to explore that, I guess.
He created a slow morph in Adobe After Effects of the pictures he compiled, then hired animators to create the movements. He then contracted a nuke artist to smooth out discrepancies with hair colour, skin tone and eye colour.
Enjoy.
