NASA Releases Epic Music Video Tribute In Memory Of Neil Armstrong [VIDEO]

Sunday marked the one year anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s death, and NASA released this music video as a tribute to the late astronaut. On July 20, 1969, Armstrong became the first person to walk on the moon as commander of NASA’s Apollo 11 lunar landing mission.
In commemoration of Armstrong’s legacy, the video features a song by Eric Brace, called “Tranquility Base.”
After the Apollo 11 moon landing, Armstrong dubbed the site “Tranquility Base.” The song was written to honour the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11 in 2009.

Neil Armstrong died August 25, 2012, at age 82.
