Ecce Homo is the Spanish fresco whose restoration was botched after parishioner, Cecillia Gimenez attempted to restore the painting to its former glory.

The ruined fresco now enjoys the nickname ‘Monkey Christ’ and has become a serious tourist attraction with over 40,000 people making their way to the church to view the failure. Epic win?
