Japan is a lonely place, apparently. There is nothing worse than being single and having your loved up friends share endless photos of themselves and their significant other, so japanese photographer, Keisuke Jinushi found a way to keep up with appearances.
To fake a girlfriend on Instagram, Jinushi applied a fare amount of foundation to his right hand, and painted his fingernails red for a more feminine touch. He then reeled off a series of selfies, with his right hand playing the part of a disembodied love interest. Jinushi also recommends Forever Alones use filters to further distort the clarity of the image.
