Marriage Proposal During A Baseball Game Goes Horribly Wrong [VIDEO]

It takes a lot of courage to pop the question. It takes even more to decide to do it at a baseball game in front of thousands of spectators, and will more than likely be caught on camera and beamed to thousands more in their living rooms. In other words, you have to be certain that this will work out.

That wasn’t the case for David. He had made the decision to propose to the love of his life at a New Britain Rock Cats minor league match. But Dave – let’s call him Dave – was not prepared for the answer that followed the most nerve racking question of all time, ‘will you marry me?’.

Dave’s girlfriend, Jessica answered “No.” And then ran off the pitch.

Some are speculating the entire debacle could be a promo prank for the baseball team. Either way, it’s a damn shame.
