Simon Cowell is the father of married New York socialite Lauren Silverman’s unborn child. Reports suggest that Cowell accepts that the unborn baby is his, though sources close to him claim that the news of the baby “freaked” him out as Cowell never wanted children. That whole thing of having a living, breathing reminder of your infidelity must also be pretty stressful.
Pictures from a January 2012 holiday in the Carribean show Cowell and Silverman lapping up the sun with Silverman’s husband in tow.
Silverman’s husband has filed for divorce. The images below show Silverman running her fingers through Cowell’s hair and giggling with him all while her husband, Andrew Silverman watched.
A source close to Cowell said:
Simon is in no doubt the child is his. The other girls can’t believe that she is the one who has [got his baby].
They’ve all met her, they know who she is and they have been reduced to tears by this.
She has apparently been going around telling people for the last three to six months that she is going to have his baby.
Simon has been very stressed in the last few months with his various shows and juggling everything that he has in his life.
In the harem hierarchy, Lauren is regarded as the fun, party girl. Simon is [said to be] freaked out by this but there is no question that he will not support the child.
The news was confirmed by Silverman’s stepmother, Rosy Davis. Davis said:
We are all excited for the baby. It’s beautiful. We feel blessed. Any kid is a blessing.
Reports suggest that Silverman is 10 weeks pregnant.
And for good measure, here’s a video of the socialite sitting between her husband and Cowell at a charity auction in December 2012. The footage shows Cowell’s very awkward body language.
