Your news feeds have been overflowing with the Royal birthing, but among the congratulations and “it’s a boy” messages, there have been some hilarious statements and jokes made.
For those of you who still need the details, here they are: After being admitted to the Lindo wing in the early stages of labour at around 06h00 on 22 July, The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a 3,7 kilogram baby prince at 16h24.
Now for some fun. Let’s start with the video above by veteran newsman Simon McCoy, who didn’t have any trouble expressing how he was reporting absolutely nothing outside the Lindo wing. “Plenty more to come from here of course, the BBC newsreader told viewers, none of it news. But that won’t stop us.”
Bring in the pop culture.
