In a story with the headline I’ve waited my whole life to write, the future Mr Katy Perry has been referred to as “pointless” by one of Britain’s most celebrated talk show hosts and, perhaps most crushingly, had his talents compared to those of an acting dog.
Michael Parkinson was speaking on BBC’s Radio 5 when he said that he didn’t see the point of Russell Brand saying he wasn’t particularly funny or creative.
Then, in a moment of pure, unadulterated awesome, he added:
‘I would say he has been a very lucky man. I mean Rin Tin Tin had a very big career in Hollywood and he was a dog. You don’t have to be particularly talented to have a career in Hollywood.’
Ouch!
