Everyone deserves to let off some steam, especially if you’re Andy Murray and stuffing up in your Wimbledon quarter-final.
The Scottish tennis pro took public venting to a new level last night during his match against Fernando Verdasco. When Murray went down in his second set, putting Verdasco 2 sets to nothing up, Murray released a PG bender of exclamations that forced commentator Andrew Castle to apologise viewers.
I do apologise for the language of course, but you can understand the frustration Andy Murray feels at this point.
The ranting between Murray and well…himself, went something along these lines: “Fucking wanker, what are you doing?”
Regardless of his foul mouth, Murray went on to win the quarter-final, so it seems like the pep-talk he gave himself worked.
