High Court Grants Oscar Pistorius Permission To Travel

Oscar Pistorius, double amputee and Olympic Gold Medalist, is accused of murderering his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. His legal team was back in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria today to appeal some of his’ bail conditions.

His legal team argued that Pistorius is not a flight risk, and should be allowed to travel, as he may need to compete in order to maintain a source of income.

Judge Bert Bam was the presided in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria. Bam conluded that Pistorius may travel, but must hand in his passport to his attorney and must provide the National Prosecuting Authority with his itinerary.
