“GHOST! BUSTERS!”
That is, of course, if the party is sincere about it’s latest claims that The Media (in big, bad, capital letters) is responsible for “creating an atmosphere in which Zuma may be under attack at the NGC.”
More, from the Sowetan:
THE ANC says the media is inventing “ghost stories” to “politically poison” its members ahead of the party’s national general council later this month.
The ANC said it insults Motlanthe to suggest he leads a faction called “The New Frontier”, allegedly including Human Settlements Minister Tokyo Sexwale, Cosatu general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi and Defence Minister Lindiwe Sisulu.
The ruling party also slammed the media for suggesting the existence of an opposing faction called “The Coalition of the Wounded”. According to media reports, this faction is allegedly led by Communications Minister Siphiwe Nyanda, Mbalula and ANC Youth League president Julius Malema.
The New Frontier? The Coalition of the Wounded? I love the ANC. They have a name for damned near everything. Even forces of subterfuge have executives and mission statements.
Just, in the mean time, can we put together a Coalition for the Delivery of Service? Or perhaps an Executive Technician for the Facilitation of Plain Language?
