I received an sms on Saturday night from Jason as I wandered around the Rocking The Daisies festival (click here for 24’s photo gallery), figuring out how to break through security and dance on the main stage when Goldfish were playing. It turns out someone else was induging in a little security breach of their own, as the message confirmed that 2oceansvibe had been hacked!
I started to panic, as I logged into the website on my HTC..
This is what showed (nothing else – just this) for nearly the entire weekend on 2oceansvibe:
2oceansvibe.com – Hacked by Dr. Militan
Quite mellow, hey?
At first I thought, “Oh my GOD!!! What am I going to do?!?” But then I realised that it was simply a change to the front page of the website. This was also confirmed at woganmay , who reported on the 2oceansvibe hacking.
It was also mentioned on CNN.
Not really.
So anyway I thought I’d leave it there for most of the weekend. I mean, it’s a compliment to be hacked, right? Although the spider and various key words in the message were ever so slightly alarming.
My personal highlight was the “don’t panic” part. Which I did. For a bit. Before I ran on stage and got dragged off by security.
Madness.
