An electronic sensor that attches like a “second skin” and monitors your health has been developed by MC10. The “second skin” is worn like a temporary tattoo.
MC10 has developed a micro chip that can be printed directly onto the skin, bonding the health sensor to your body with spray-on bandage mterial. As the chip bonds directly with the skin, “epidermal electronics” can detect the wearers temparature and hydration levels.
The technology was designed for sports physicians.
The “second skin” is ultra thin, and can withstand exposure to to water.
The sticker is made up of tiny mesh circuits that can last for up to two weeks, and are worn off with natural exfoliation.
